Sun Stories is a material-led design studio working between London and Accra. We make homeware, objects and collectibles by hand, and source pieces of provenance from contemporary makers and historical traditions. The through-line is provenance: every piece is traceable to its maker, its material and its method. We work across contemporary studio production and older collected pieces, and we hold both to the same standard.

We believe good design begins with people, process and exchange. We work closely with independent artists and makers, many holding knowledge that is local, inherited and hard-won. Through close collaboration, fair compensation and respect for material knowledge, we invest in our makers’ working environments and ensure the artists who make the work have a stake in its success. The work we represent carries that relationship.
